Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights
From mid-November to mid-January: 3 km of light displays, illuminated falls, and weekly fireworks. Free entry; Canadian side. Over 1 million visitors annually.
Iguazú Full Moon Tours
Five nights a month, both Argentine and Brazilian parks run guided night walks under a full moon. Moonbows in the spray are common. Book ~6 months ahead.
Cascate del Serio release
Italy's tallest free-fall is dry except five released days a year (last Sun of June, third Sun of July, third Sun of August, second Sun of October, one December date). Each release draws thousands.
Niagara Fireworks
Three times weekly in summer (Friday, Sunday, holiday Monday) over Horseshoe Falls. Combined with illumination. Best viewpoint: Queen Victoria Park.
Victoria Falls lunar rainbow
Three-night tours each full moon (Zambian side) — guided walks across the Knife-Edge Bridge to see the moonbow in the spray. Pre-booking essential.
Pongour Falls festival, Vietnam
Annual full-moon celebration on the 15th day of the first lunar month (~Feb-Mar). Local pilgrimage; flower altars at the lower pool; busy and joyful.
Multnomah Holiday Lights
Late November through New Year: Multnomah Falls Lodge decorated, illuminated, and offering carol singing. Reservation still required for park entry.
